(Saudi Arabia is) essentially saying to everybody: \u2018Look, it is April and May.\u2019 Just like they did in January when they discussed Feb. and March output,\u201d Sen said.<\/p>\n<p>Saudi Arabia understands that oil producers, such as Russia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates, are willing to start pumping more oil into the market, she continued. However, Riyadh remains \u201claser focused\u201d on bringing down global oil inventories to the industry\u2019s five-year average and thus will push for the group to hold off on reversing cuts until May.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"ArticleBody-subtitle\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u2018Quintessentially different views and interests\u2019<\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"group\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>OPEC+ initially agreed to cut oil production by a record of 9.7 million barrels per day last year, before easing cuts to 7.7 million and eventually 7.2 million from January.<\/p>\n<p>OPEC kingpin Saudi Arabia has since taken on voluntary cuts of 1 million from the beginning of February through March.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCharacteristic of the typical divisions within OPEC+, the meetings will be home to passionate debate reflecting quintessentially different views and interests.
